A School with Christian Values

Religion plays an important part in the curriculum of St. Joseph’s. Our aim is to lead students to a deeper, active and more personal faith. We strive to create an atmosphere where Christian values find practical expression in the daily life of the school.

The ethos of the Catholic Church extends beyond the religion class. Liturgy forms part of the school life. We provide our students with experiences including prayer and sacraments at Christmas, Lent and Easter.

Our school Chaplain forms a direct link between the school community and the wider Catholic community of the parish.

We are fortunate to have a Prayer Room, which facilitates attendance at Prayer meetings, and also allows students to drop in for some moments of quiet prayer and reflection.
